Well, I spent an afternoon in the rather lovely 21Seven in Edinburgh and laid down two songs (I ended up changing things so the one above didn't make the cut). I'm getting the artwork finalised over the next few weeks and then I'll decide what I'm going to do with them...

To be fair, there is no way that linesman was in a position to see if Nolan was offside. Even in the replays it was an incredibly tight call. Also, it would have been pleasing to see Man U drop more points.

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who has found that a combination of life, work and age has made it really hard to keep playing in a noisy rock band... Maturity, eh? Bah. With that in mind, I've been mucking around with some solo stuff - initially just covers - but now with a view to making a record. I've just been demoing stuff on my phone (thanks, GarageBand) and "Made to Break" is the first thing I've come out with.
