Hey there! Thanks you so much to all that came along! It was a really awesome night, everyone seemed to be having a good time and there was a really good atmosphere. Hopefully we can keep this up and keep the night going! I hope to see everyone back again (and those that couldn't make it) on Thursday the 4th of October!

Ah Maxi, the bringer of doom! I know this, it was just a term - albeit a crap one. I think it meant more along the lines of, instead of playing the big hit off the album, play another good song off the album. How's things anywhoo? Haven't seen/spoken to you in ages!

The plan is to have bands every second night in the month, so it will be just the clubnight one week, then a fortnight later bands and the club, then a fortnight later just the club, and so on and so on... All of the band nights will be part of the club and so will all be over 18s. This means the usual Moshulu "pay for gig entry, only get one drink per ID, get booted out after gig, only get let back in half an hour later after paying again" will be happily avoided. We're trying to avoid the usual metal night "cliches" as such. The two DJs (Kharn who posted above being one of them!) are people who have gone to metal nights before and been bored at what they have heard. They want to do one which will be a bit different and keep everyone happy. I think the term used was "staying away from 'kerrang metal'" I'm really hoping the night does well and manages to stay afloat, of course for it to do so we need everyone's support! Any suggestions (within reason ) are welcome also, before and after the launch night. Man, I wish I didn't type as I talk...everything ends up so long winded! :O

Err, no? Wow, it doesn't surprise me that you automatically think that because I make a sarcastic comment and I am female that it must be the "time of the month." How old are you, 12? Maybe, just maybe (going way out on a limb here) I might just find it a little stupid how every thread no matter what topic it is on, turns into a "I'm better and way smarter than you" farse. Perhaps I thought I would take the piss out of that fact. Of course I could say it is my time of the month, at least then I'd have an excuse for being a twat. Whats your excuse?

Of course after doing all of those things Flash mentioned, you can't forget the inevitable "for fuck sake the toilets are flooded! That's mingin" as if it was done purposefully by the staff. Then on losing two members of bar staff to clean up the mess - from flooding or any of the other nasties above - the "for fuck sake why is it taking so long to get served, you need more staff." No, we need people who don't get their kicks from destroying things. This is especially bad in female toilets. Girls who block the toilets by stuffing all the toilet roll down them, fuck the locks and rip seats off the bowl - then complain that there is no toilet paper and no working toilets/cubicles. Oh and blocking the sinks and leaving them running - followed by complaining about how their lovely new shoes are getting wet. Can't be as bad as an experience in Opium in Edinburgh back in the summer, some girl had managed to get herself knocked out cold in the guys toilets, and so everyone in the club was having to use the girls. If you went near the door to the female toilets you were told there was a 20 minute wait! And so a lot of people were going next door to Subway. Trust me though, if you are on a night out and the toilets are flooded, lacking in toilet paper/toilets etc - the people working in the establishment will suffer a lot more than you. *rant over*

Indeed it bloody was! Sorry to those that had to wait forever at the bar, reason one being we never have tooo many staff on a Wednesday as it hardly ever gets that busy. Secondly all would have been well if one of our bar staff had actually shown up as opposed to not, and having his phone off all night. *cough*Petrie you massive shit*cough* Onywhoo was a great, busy night, music was the shizniz (for a pop night, natch) long may it continue!
