That could be the case, but also they mightn't have changed thier sound in the last ten years and its taken this long for them to get anywhere due to record label interest changed to that kind of music... You never know FFAF might have been influenced from them, unlikely but possible..

Not worst band ever, there are bands that are not necissarily poppy, that are shite too. Like crazy heavy noise, and just general bad bands that don't fit in to a genre becase all thier songs sound like groaning angst with power chords..
