the sad thing is that the very same summer batman and robin came out the even sadder thing is i went and saw both films at the cinema worst...films....ever

for those that care (anyone left?) SNES all the way kudos to mario world (the first one not the mucho overated sequel) starwing, mario kart, PLOK!!, Clayfighters (better than both mortal kombat and street fighter ) and the sadly unloved spiderman and x-men (ok actually that last one was shite)

but...but...it not even the best film in a record shop (high fidelity peeps) or even my favourite liv tyler film (yeh she's cute...but stealing beautys better)..... im sorry i'll take my naysaying and go...have your thread back and bask in the glow of the films cult status

am i the only one who thinks empire records is just slightly (just slightly mind) overatted and its not the masterpiece everyone seems to think it is and is infact lightweight fluff albeit with the very pretty liv tyler being generally adorable??? oh i am... oh....ok....i'll just go....sorry

first time i read it i was worried that it was just gonna be another one of those "oh gee wow look how many drugs we took and how much sex we had" kinda books, like how soooo many rock biography's can basically boil down to (its cute the first time you read a book like that but really theres only so many times you can read something like "and then we got really fucked up and collapsed during our gig and then slept with 50 hookers" before it stops being "shocking" and entertaining and becomes a bit...dare i say...boring?...ok maybe repetative not boring...but not good, see my point?) anyway...uh yeh...im with the band is my favourite 'rock n roll' book and Pamela des Barres is a star enjoy
