  1. It was posted the 22nd Jan on the NIN website that he's their guitarist for the forthcoming tour. http://www.nin.com/access/index.html
  2. I had a dream I went to a Biffy signing a few weeks ago, and it was ace. I was in this really, really long corridor...and then I touched the bassist...*ahhhh* *aherm*
  3. Apparently Green Day are headlining.
  4. Beans on Toast with Cheese on Top and some tomatos mixed in with the beans for nutrition. Buy a chicken for 3 and have it in sandwiches for lunch, and with beans and chips for supper. Yum.
  5. Touche' my good man. You know what I mean though.
  6. I went to a really good Scottish Enterprise free 2 hour seminar on this a couple of weeks ago called 'Internet Marketing'. You should check out: http://www.scottish-enterprise.com/sedotcom_home/services-to-business/going-online/ebusinessworkshops.htm I'll look over the handouts and post some tips tomorrow.
  7. Yes and i'm really glad that i'm paying almost 20 to see support bands who I could see for 2 normally at the Barfly or 13th Note. Sorry - I know that's not the spirit. I don't mean to be down on local music, but to be fair I would rather see touring bands.
  8. You would think that playing a sold out UK tour, they'd organise a propper sodding support band.
  9. Does anyone know who the support is?
  10. It seems pretty shocking how many of you didn't even stay to see HA.
  11. They were absolutly fab last night - a totally rocking gig all round. Sold Out as well. Woohoo. You should go check them out tonight if you can. I saw them last time around and they didn't make much of an impression on me, but last night they were on fire. The new stuff sounds stunning, and they're such nice guys as well. Go see!
  12. Buck 65 was brilliant. I also really enjoyed Jesse Mallin.
  13. I thought it looked great so I went to see it on Friday, but I thought it was shit. The dialogue is so unimaginative and I just thought it was trying far to hard, but missed the point completly. I thought Natalie Portman was about the only saving grace of the film. I thought the other three would have been great but their parts were so restrictive.
  14. It's at the corner of Church Street and Dumbarton Road - just off Byers Road. It used to be called the Solid Rock West.
  15. I love it too. I wish they'd come back on tour again. They are still on the go, yeah?
  16. Alyssa's Wish became the new flavour of the month. Congrats on the CD guys. That's really fab - something to show the grandkids.
  17. T in the Park is actually the worst festival in the whole world (not that I have tons to compare it to). We went last year (my 3rd time), and it was a total waste of money. Yes there's always about 8 bands you want to see, but what the hell do you do for the other 12 hours? Sit about with million drunk neds. The security was massively over the top. I queued for 30 mins to get in to see Basement Jaxx with about a thousand other people because they closed the tent, only to get in and find the tent 2/3 empty. The security guys were like, "get back, people are getting crushed" outside. Answer: Let them into the bloody empty tent! Or tell people that you've infact swapped BJaxx and Felix da Housecat and that the band their trying to see isn't on for another hour anyway. I actually hate it. I'd rather go to Reading anyday. Or infact throw myself into a tank of sewage.
  18. Like posting on an internet message board?
  19. I thought the Motorcycle Diaries was the best film I saw last year, but it's hardly nominated for anything. The nominations pretty much scream *blockbusters are us*
  20. Don't listen to him - he's a bad man who doesn't talk to people....
  21. I don't think it's anything like sex and the city - it's far more in the vein of 6 feet under. There's that kind of dark homour to it.
  22. Check out the Cafe West on Dumbarton Road - used to be the solid rock west. It has a great vibe and brilliant tunes. Also - the Basement on Byers Road. This is a wicked 'alternative' pub. Really cool vibe and again great tunes. In town, I like...actually i'm stuck for in town. If I were you i'd take the tube out to the west end (Hillhead) which is the best bit of Glasgow.
