Yeah, I was discussing Jimmy Eat World with Bob in relation to this but we both conceded that Futures isn't quite as good as Bleed American. By the way saying that Bob Dylan, for instance, has gotten better with every album only holds true if you believe that his most recent album is better than every album of his that preceded it.

I was having a discussion with someone the other day, trying to think if there were any bands that improved with every album they released. In other words the second album has to be better than their debut, and their third album has to be better than their second. And I couldn't really think of any. But there must be some bands out there that have done it surely? To qualify, the band must have released at least three albums.

To ge honest, I don't really give a damn which one we go to so long as I get to shoot the shit out of a bunch of people I vaguely know. Having already booked Skirmish, however, I think it would be simplest to stick with it. If the paintballing is a success and we decide to do it again in future, we could go elsewhere then. For now, keep posting here if you want to go paintballing. I'll PM everyone on the list next week seeking confirmation from them.

Who's all going to Nine Inch Nails gig on Thursday? If anyone's got space in their car, let me know. I'll chip in for petrol etc.

I think somewhere out of town would be best. That way there won't be too many randoms discovering it and causing trouble. If you've got to take a taxi or bus to get there, it should deter the people who aren't up for doing this properly. If we can get a decent location sorted, I'll contribute a generator and PA for the evening. That way we can make lots of noise and not run out of batteries.
