  1. why put in a vending machine in when you could make profit for yourself? mmm, peanuts and crisps would be nice.
  2. thursday's good cos it's nearly weekend and everyone's fed up of it being week by that point.
  3. Ross, you can't blame anyone - you're always ill! you should take vitamins! Actually all of you! i hope i didn't catch it at the weekend.
  4. does that mean you get an extra hour?! anyone got a web address for whitby?
  5. Yeah! why are there never any deals on cider? (and i don't mean nasty red c or other bottles) i think a few folks would be very grateful for cheap cider, or even cider in clubs! that said, hjb's does do one of the cheaper pints of cider, still more expensive than beer though. it's discrimination!
  6. anyone know where i can get a snapfax? or do i have to crash a freshers fair?
  7. I think there's always gonna be arses in clubs, cos folk are stupid when drunk, but maybe in moshulu you notice it more cos there's fewer of them? maybe. i don't think so, driving licence though.
  8. That seems quite reasonable to me. what's the problem? and why do we need to see it? The guys from moshulu are people too, not just managers or bar staff, are they not allowed to give what they get?
  9. i rarely see folk who are not 18 yet in moshulu acting like arses. in fact, i rarely see folk acting like pricks in moshulu at all. not like other clubs. saying that, i rarely open my eyes. also, unless you know the folk yr calling underage, they may indeed be over 18. i know me (and neil) always get id'd, but then we're mini, and so maybe you could also think we are too young. just a thought.
  10. i don't think it's very acceptable. especially when you have to wade through puddles from overflowed toilets to find one with loo roll *and* a lock! but the one's downstairs in HJB's have improved - more locks!
  11. This is very true. i started going out to clubs when i was anything but legal, and not just for alcohol. it can be irritating but you've gotta get over it because it's always gonna happen. and they're generally not harming anyone anyway.
  12. was that a good thing to post with so many weeks of drinking (illegally) before it? see post above this! happy birthday for then, seen as i won't be able to be there then!
  13. there's something about this statement that makes me wince. and it's not just the poor grammar + spelling (pretentious, ok, i am nit-picking now) no one's gonna listen to sound advice when you call them a cunt. but i reckon it is hard to be calm towards to someone who's just been aggressive. ok, didn't mean to sound patronising, sorry.
  14. i had a fantastic time last nite. no one was expecting it to be so busy and i think it made it better! my morgans and coke and waters tasted as they usually do, nice (though it's not the best atmosphere to undergo taste tests with all the smoke and sweat). anyway, i thought jim did an excellent job, though he did nearly kill me from putting on so many songs i wanted to hear! i liked the palace and we have noticed that we used to dance a lot more in there, because the songs were consistantly good and known by all (although, thinking about it, i also remember folk bitching about it being the same each week) you called the club shit, that's not productive criticism. anyway, not that i'm nit picking there is a fan, it was blowing out from beside the dj booth onto the dance floor. i stood in front of it for a long time. very nice
  15. bastards! that's the *day* i'll be back at uni.
  16. damn fools! i'm gonna have to wait 'til Christmas til i can go again!
  17. shameless. but anyway. yes. drakes, as everyone agrees, especially now fek has no seats at gigs.
