Incidentally the starter for the 9 holer has been there every day this week so you canna swick on the course for a quick game of snow golf! Dave

  15. The infant school on Springhill Road. - think twas called Greenfern? The petrol station / car garage on North Anderson Drive, near to the Lang Stracht junction. The abandoned house, offset from Airyhall Road and near to that garden centre - it might be called Airyhall House or something similar?
  16. How about heart surgeons with their own wee van that also sells black puddings? Mobile dentists sounds like a great idea. Well they have mobile libraries, cinemas and banks in rural areas so why not!
  17. Noise can work great as a soundtrack to films. I remember seeing a film specifically cos it had a John Zorn score. I saw a film that had a great noise soundtrack the the Belmont in 2004. It was about a guy whose father directs adult films in their flat. A very strange film. The son escapes his drab East German surroundings and fathers filming by listening to some lovely noise. Anyone remember the name of the film? Dave
  18. Who are the grumpy mannies in string vests Alan? Anyone we know? So do you never sleep or do you just write songs in your sleep? I suppose the days of the travelling open air dentists may come back given the apparent dental crisis in 21 st century Scotland... cheers, Dave
