  1. Top of my CV says "has no knowledge of the nations shittest tribute bands" That explains it...
  2. Awe shuks Cloud. I'm warming to you And yup, a number of successful funding apps across music and art. No matter, I have moved on and reckon the job is a bit of a poisoned chalice. Which genuinely had me a little wary but thought what the hell... Not that I need have worried eh..
  3. Anyone any idea if the post has been filled and if so by who...
  4. hahaha I woulda preferred a letter like that really. and jeez it took them long enough to tell me. Much better than the generic kick in the fud that I got. Although I realise that sincere intent is limited at APA so no biggy now that I have calmed the fuck down! I am tired of this towns almost tangible lack of ambition, not the folks though, just an over arching sense that motives are driven by a misguided ambition! I hope the Warehouse, The Tunnels, The Moorings and Drummonds keep the in their place!
  5. Apparently there are more people out there with "relevant experience that would enhance [the] organisation"... Go figure. Good luck to whoever gets the job, I mean that. But seriously, not even a fucking interview?! Fuck off!
  6. Breaking Bad is indeed brill! Dexter anyone?
  7. Loving the rants! This is the kinda stuff I miss on here
  8. Gimme a shout anytime on the business plan side of things, or formulating the concept ideas for that matter. We at the studios have been chatting about something along these lines so we can maybe input to help...
  9. Cant remember the makes I have. I use two different kinds. Not at the same time though Clear moulded ones and also a more traditional looking plug with a ridged body. Both offer different uses but I find my drumming is better with them in as I tend to not hit so hard in order to hear myself over the din of bass and guitar. Flattens out the volumes.
  10. The double time section is a little, well, naff. No need for it in there.
  11. For sale Wii Console 2x controllers 2x Nunchuck 2x steering wheel adapter 1x Mario Kart 150
  12. Lordy! Saw them at the Venue in my Psychobilly days. Supported by The Guana Bats if I'm not mistaken, or that coulda been a gig in it's own right. It's all a little hazy. Banana Banana!
  13. I will add though, damn good effort and glad to see something like this happeing.
  14. May go see them with the loon if I can get tickets later in the day. The whole Biffy thing past me by and was never a fan. Don't mind the latest album as far as pop albums go. Sottish Foo Fighters! If Jnr had never started liking this album I'd still be Biffyless.
  15. He was the Drummer in The Low Lows one of my fave bands. Just adding to your sentiment:up: Gonna be a grand night!
  16. Love how you can see his wee growing mind wondering away to thoughts of sweets and power rangers, then wallop back in with a drum face when he clocks his Ma or Pa on the camera...
  17. I too was thinking, 'hmm this Doc ain't the quickest eh' One could think Miss Pond was the doctor if you hadnt seen it before...
  18. Compared to a flying police box thats bigger inside and a chap with two hearts and is nine hundred plus years old?
  19. I was all for having you all binned out the back door and beaten senseless.
  20. Aah, the mysterious glass from the ceiling event... There were other theories as to where the glass started its unusual trajectory...
  21. I was close. Jeremy Healy not a comedian of some sorts. That woulda been cool too like
  22. Seconded! Great band and great entertainment. The support act Jeff Healey is/was the Low Lows Drummer. Stanley on the bill as well so a great night to be had!
