  1. Check out SBG Aberdeen! http://www.sbgaberdeen.co.uk/
  2. Nah, I'm not managing him, just helping him out a bit
  3. Are you sure you have the right number for him?
  4. I'm using the free account from Sound Cloud so I think you have to download each track individually, sorry! You should get the lovely artwork when you download it though. Go ahead a share it with anyone you think would appreciate it and on behalf of Ashley Park, thanks for giving the songs your time
  5. Ashley Park - Silent Comedy by Cabin Fever on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free Like free music? Everyone download and share this album (completely free!) by Ashley Park, an awesome local musician who is highly underrated. Silent Comedy is a session that was recorded last year and was never released to the public - UNTIL NOW! Look out for new recordings this year and check him out live. Thanks.
  6. Anyone know if Milton is still at Oldmachar?
  7. fucking hell this thread has been around for a while...
  8. seems like politics are still present in the music scene. I can understand doing favours for promoters in return for consideration when a fantastic opportunity arises but if the situation with Weapon and Tunnels is true then that goes beyond pathetic. Not giving a support slot to a band who deserve it / best represent Aberdeen's offering within a certain genre / and can increase the likeliness of the show selling out is just ignorant on the promoters part. I thought you lot were supposed to be in it for the money* Like them or not, My Minds Weapon pull in a crowd. On a brighter note, Every Time I Die in Aberdeen!?!?! I never thought I'd see the day, beats driving to Glasgow for the show too! *sarcasm (incase you didn't get it)
  9. How about you start a new thread? We will have RX Bandits tickets with us at our gig at Drummonds on Monday for anyone who wants to buy one Thanks
  10. RX BANDITS THE 44S THE UPSTARTS AT LONG LAST MOSHULU MAY 1ST TICKETS £8 (Pm me for tickets)
  11. why is being "inoffensive" a bad thing?
  12. Make sure you label your photos otherwise you will actually get bands who take your kindess for granted. Past experience
  13. Are you aware that there is already a band Called Don't Look Down who are pretty well known? CLICK HERE
  14. I think encouraging young people to become aware of local bands and the local scene is the best thing a band can do. I went to my first gig when i was about 14 to see a friends band and continued to go to pretty much only their gigs for a few months until they started playing with bands who i took an interest in. Since I was 14, I have loved bands like Quik and then progressed onto bands like Deadloss and now at the tender age of 19, having grown up with the ever changing scene, I have discovered more and more bands as well as continuing to take an interest in what the older bands are doing, whilest starting my own band, playing the music I love and also in a way - trying to return the favour to Aberdeen. I think that people have to remember the time when they started going to gigs and how old THEY were and why they started going to gigs in the first place. You have to start somewhere... We were all kids once (well... with the odd exception I guess) It's easy to look at younger people and think "Fucking hell they are really annoying" but how were you acting when you were their age?
