  9. As someone that only visits Aberdeen a few times a year, I was wondering who Aberdeen's biggest Alternative Rock band. When I say biggest I mean in terms of drawing decent crowds, also I mean unsigned to a major label as well.
  10. Listened to the track a few times, I really like the keyboard loop it reminds me of the kinda sounds you would hear on a Beatles record but it does have a modern DJ Shadow/Radiohead feel as well. The effect on the accoustic compliments your voice as well, they mix in really well. I like the bit where the tempo and rhythm changes however a small break before that section would have been my personal choice, but after a few listens I was used to it and seemed natural. Our band Kobi also has some MP3s on HUBL we have a demo of "Could I Move In With You" in the download section and 2 live tracks from a recent HUBL gig on the main page (Im not very happy with the overall mix of the live tracks but I think it still gives a rough idea of our live performances).
  11. They are an excellent band, our band has done a couple of gigs with them now and they are in my mind the kinda band that sets an example for how band should be in terms of tighteness, performance and having their own sound. I listen to their EP lots and it one of the few CDs that I have that I guess has what you would call cross-over appeal, because even my girlfriend is really into their CD and she is more in pop music these days. Which isnt a bad thing, they have a sound that anyone can listen to and it still maintains its integrity.
  12. We are playing Dr.Drakes at around 4 pm, We are travelling from near Inverness. check out HUBL in the download section to hear one of our songs "Kobi - Could I Move In With You" Hope some of you can come along
