  1. New year, new guitarist, new band. Here's the new website folks www.thed.co.uk Go and enjoy yourselves... B x
  2. Hey I Know this is for Aberdeen but other people like myself may come on and browse. If you're from glasgow or surrounding area's look below! Thank you! ------------------------ Hey folks Daedalian and guitarist Mackie split ways earlier this month. We are now looking to recruit someone to fill his shoes. We are looking for someone who can handle lead guitar as well as bringing a host of lead guitar/effects/melodies to already written song. Our music writing is a democratic process and when we find the right person we will begin right away. Our style is big riffs, controlled melody with a very angtsy attitude. We are all 19/20 and come from Kirkintilloch (near Glasgow). We seek someone from (preferably) surrounding area's (or city centre), 18+ and with the vision of joining a highly commited rock band who are in it for the BIGGER picture. We are on the Podboy stable and if you want to hear MP3's go to www.purevolume.com/daedalian and click Holocaust for your best inclination of what we are about. PM me or email daedalian@hotmail.com Only those who will be willing to commit greatly need apply. Daedalian x x x
  3. From a completely musical and band point of view Daedalian think it is best to go forward without guitarist Mackie. It is on a totally professional and musical point of view with the future in mind, and was not a personal attack. We would just like to wish Mackie best of luck and keep everyone up-to-date with the goings on. Thanks - Daedalian www.purevolume.com/daedalian <== MP3's www.podboyrecords.co.uk/podforum/viewforum.php?f=11 <== Forum
  4. |They did have a few technical faults but their music speaks for itself. They are gathering quite a strong following in Glasgow the now and their songs are goign better. I know their singer "camebull" he is a good friend and we often jam together. Thats fair enough if they're not your thing but I think they are amazing. If you are into Biffy Clyro, Manics, any sort of Post-Hard rock. Its not emo buti f you love emo you will love them! Brian x

To download first track 'Holocaust' as well as two other songs visit our mp3 page. http://www.purevolume.com/daedalian Holocaust is an emotional track about being let down, the disapointments of self realisation and a few big fuck off riffs as well. Download see what ya think. Daedalian x

  10. Hey everyone - for the people who turned out last night to see us, and to the people who came out to enjoy a night of good music I am sorry to have let down! Unfortunately our bassist got too fucked on alcohol on the way up and forgot to play all our songs as well as made a complete dick of himself and let the band down utterly! I just thought I would post this to let people understand we are usually a good tight band with a variety of styles in our set and a lot of angst but as the prat on the 4 strings forgot our songs and almost fucked up the amp and bass guitar awe are taking steps! Thanks again anyway and we are returning hopefully in February, same line up, more songs and for once a flawless aberdeen gig! Thanks - brian xx

  13. Daedalian are hitting drakes again on the 26th november. We are debating whether or not to play Falling Away! I heard a few people like it up there and Rachel from ex Battery Living and now Normans Fetish (sniggers) sang with us last time. Anyway if we do play it it will be the last time we play it this side of the year. What does anyone think? b x
