  1. The overcrowded monkey house that was the 2007 holiday release schedule lost one of its 800-pound gorillas today. Without warning, this afternoon Take-Two Interactive stunned the game industry by announcing it was delaying Grand Theft Auto IV to the second quarter of its 2008 fiscal year, which begins on February 1, 2008. Published by Take-Two subsidiary Rockstar Games, the crime-action title had been slated to ship for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America on October 16, 2007.

"Certain elements of development proved to be more time-intensive than expected, especially given the commitment for a simultaneous release on two very different platforms," said Take-Two chairman Strauss Zelnick in a statement

this gives some of you now more time to save up to buy your ps3's or xbox 360's :p

  2. I never get tired of playing the bowling game, golf and tennis. The boxing is shit IMO.

    baseball is excellent

but has done my arm in twice now 8-)

zelda - twilight princess, raymans raving rabbids and resident evil 4 are the key ones to get for now

but smash bros and mario party 8 are the ones im waiting for to come out

  3. i am soooo happy :D

all in all a supurb game with alot of tension

chelsea had no real chances that they could have taken advantage of

agger controlled drogba very well and scoring the goal as well

    just brilliant :D

  4. I am quite disappointed that it is based in Liberty City AGAIN. Isn't that about the fifth game now?

all the games have been based from the first one where the cities were liberty city, vice city and san andreas so its no real suprise that with the new game is continuing with this

although it would be nice to have a new city to go about

  5. I am on 54 hours and just got to Archades.

This is going to take fucking AGES to complete at this rate.

    trust me

the ending is very much so worth it, a little short though

and i did get the feeling that their may be a ff xii - 2 somewhere around the corner

  6. completed it in 53 hours

was that hard to be honest, just kept doing random fights with tough monsters till my characters were up to level 50 and kicked everyones ass :)

the storyline was good and very different to the previous ones, along with the fighting style and i particularly liked the use of gambits as it helped with not having to deal with every abnormality a character got

as with any final fantasy game, i'd advise anyone to buy it

i've still got lots left to do with side line stories while will probably take me a good few more hours to do

  7. Have you tried using your Quickening combos?

For every boss battle/mark I tend to do a Quickening with the first 3 members of my party and then quickly change to my other 3 (although this may take a while if he is targeting someone as you cannot change that party member when they are being targeted). Try getting two of them in and start casting some Water spells and dealing damage with close-range weapons and try to equip a shield or two.

    i beat him :)

havent really figured out the quickening thing, but im kicking ass now :)

bought the guide book now but wont be touching it till i've completed it

have just walked through the giza plains to the garif

  8. There is no remake. It was just a tech demo to show the capabilities of the PS3.

Been playing for almost 25 hours now, and just past King Raithwall's tomb. I have the feeling that I am going to be playing this for over 70 hours.

i cant beat the flame dude at the bottom of the tomb

as soon as i beat him up he uses a protect shield and i cant cause enough damage before he kills all my guys

  10. yup

stronghold /crusader are alright but could have been better but walls dont really work as the enemy can simply walk through them if u build it up to the edge of the map

    other than that its ok

but does get complicated at times where u have to build everything from arrows to the bows that fire them

the settlers games were much better :)

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE Will Reunite For COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL - Jan. 21, 2007

Geoff Boucher of the Los Angeles Times reports that RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, the seminal L.A. band that made heavy music into political manifesto, will reunite after a seven-year lull for one show as the headliners at the 2007 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

L.A. Times' sources say RAGE, which played the main stage at the first Coachella in 1999, will be joined by other familiar faces for the eighth edition of the festival, which covers three days this year and begins April 27: RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, which headlined in 2003, are back, as is BJRK, who topped the bill in 2002.
