Just got into it again this weekend. Stunning game, i like the community compared to other mmorpg's, much more mature and helpful. Also, the player run economy are unlike anything in any other game ive come across, just the depth and scope of it all is amazing. So yeah, roll on the decent ship and the bounty hunting...

I cant really see any similarities between it and any incubus stuff... More a rough cut and paste between one of those growly type metal bands and and some some cheesy jazz/funk something... Actually, as far as comparisons go that one sucked...

I went off them when Iowa was released... But i can still dig the stuff on mate feed kill repeat, complete with jazz/disco/funk breakdowns. Maybe thats where dillenger got their ideas from.... *hides from angry hxc kids*

Just hit lvl 40 tonight, and summoning my beautiful warhorse made it time well spent.... And also patience paid off as im currently loaded to the eyeballs with rare(ish) gear... Sword of serenity - Aegis of the scarlet commander - Hand of righteousness (that has to be mispelt) and pretty much the full scarlet armour set from those crazy cats in the scarlet monastery... Best novelty band... Id say GWAR for the win, i mean they looked awesome, and with song titles such as 'Sexecutioner', 'Black and Huge' and love surgery id say they have a strong case...

So it agree's with your laptop as far as keyboard commands are concerned? Being a laptop user i find nothing more annoying than games giving me a big hassle for not having a proper numpad, or other laptop-ish things... Darn you final fantasy 7... Cheers Ross

Sounds good, I look to get the game early next month. I will most likely join the your server with the aberdonian population, and become a social leech, i hope you dont mind... As far as class and race goes, its human paladin all the way. You can even get a paladin specific warhorse, its gonna be like relieving my AD&D days all over again... Holy weapons /shudder...

hehe, A good point well made... Those of you who are playing WoW, how are you finding it? And would you recommend it over more established games such as Everquest or Anarchy online?

Im really considering getting into a mmorpg, and this game in particular, but since you guys seems pretty clued up, i wanna ask you a few things? 1) How smooth does the game run for you? I have a fairly high spec pc (p4 3.2ghz, 512mb ram, ati radeon 9700 128mb) and i 1.1mbps internet connection I played the free public trial of galaxies, and found i was bouncing about all over the shop, utterly unplayable... 2)How is the online community? The amount of twats that play call of duty almost stops me playing it, too many 1337 D00dz that call me a noob if i kill them, or a camper if i snipe them, or a sprayer... the list goes on. Im sure i had other questions, but i cant think of them right now... Thanks in advance Ross

Yes, thats for ONE WEEk... Of course ds sales are gonna slow down, not everyone wants 2 you know... Besides those are sales to retailers anyways...

But the ds is absolutely killing the psp in terms of sales... Besides, nintendo owns the handheld market. and with the ds has done something original, i cant see the release of tekken p, fifa 2005 p, ridge racer p (get the picture) etc doing anything to shake nintendo's hold on the handheld market. And wait til someone whispers pokemon ds...

I thought silver bullet were decent, very tight. On the night though i think too many covers might have let them down, and the crowd weren't really diggin metallica, which was unfortunate. Although the drunk guy seemed to love it... The also had very little stage presence, maybe due to nerves, im not sure.. But on the whole i thought they played well and put on a solid performance, nice guys too

Ive had my ds for a few days now, id say its absolutely awesome! The game i got with it was spiderman-2, pretty generic side scrolling beat em up making next too no use of the ds touch screen, although it does show off how well the ds can handle 3D, and the sound quality compared to an gb advance game is highly superior. But the one thing that has had me glued to the (dual) screen is the demo of metroid prime hunters that came with, thats one unbelievable game right there. I cant believe how quickly i got used to using the thumbstrap and touch screen to aim, its remarkably responsive. And when it is finally released, im sure it will be as great a title as the original metroid prime. DS owns, full stop.

I expect most users of this site would have been at kef anyways, to see the mmw boys and co. And lets not forget little charlie at the lemon tree...
