it's mostly emotional songs (at an absurd volume) that send a shiver down my spine: 3 doors down - here without you killswitch engage - the end of heartache seether - broken stonesour - bother
i'm also a big fan of dido's 'no angel', particularly the song 'here with me' which is one of my favourite songs but like most people, 'life for rent' didn't make much of an impact on me. as someone said previously, check out heather nova - she has an amazing voice, especially on the track 'papercup'.
oops! i completely missed this whole thread n started another one! anyways yeah, the night was fucking amazing! totally mental at times - especially when the guy jumped off the balcony into the crowd!! n yep, adam for funny as hell...what was with the shoe moshing??! loved it!
...were ace on saturday night! we turned up too late to see god forbid but i heard they were good? as for the guy who jumped from the balcony into the crowd...
right, so a homosexual person is supposed to think "oh, hang on, i can't be gay, i can't be myself, i can't have fun, because well, i have to reproduce"?
if being sexually attracted to a member of the same sex makes someone happy, what's the problem? people can't help it if they are gay, it's not a defect - there's nothing wrong with wanting to be happy in being yourself and not have to conform to narrow-minded views.
one minute, i'm going, the next, i'm not... but woohoo... going again! only to killswitch though methinks... and the new guy isn't that bad - come on, it'd be hard for anyone to try and better jesse's vocals!
evanescence - ok, so i'm a huge fan of their demo stuff - a bad case of a band 'selling out'. white stripes - i get bored listening to them. the darkness - a novelty just now, people will get fed up of them eventually. longview/starsailor - for the same reason as the white stripes. rancid - just not my cup of tea.
