  1. i LOVE wikapedia " As of May 21, 2006, there have been 80 episodes of Family Guy televised. A direct to DVD movie Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story was released on September 27, 2005 (Region 1), October 24, 2005 (Region 2). Season 4 was split into various segments to not waste new episodes when television audiences were low. Fox showed an initial run of ten episodes starting in May, then after a brief hiatus episodes restarted on September 11, 2005. Season 5 will start on September 10, 2006 and contain 22 episodes. The season finale will be part one of two, with part two airing as the 6th season premiere. The 100th episode (According to Fox) is the season 6 premiere, although its technically the 103rd episode (Fox doesn't count the 3 TV versions of the movie that aired as the season 4 finale"

  11. it wasnt that bad. glasgow airport was dead by 8pm and there were no long waits or hold ups it was just really annoying having nothing on the plane i had a bad cough and they wouldnt except turkish money so i couldnt buy any drink or food and couldnt take any cough medicine or throat sweets coming back was fine though there were still armed police at the airport though
  12. just so you know my facts all came from the BPI and IFPI not individual record companies
  13. latest is ALL the shops in the airport are shut so they better let us in with sandwhiches. im wishes we'd said yes to in flight meals now :-(
  14. i meant glasgow airport "hangs head" im not sure why. my mum just told me she read it or heard it somewhere dont know if its to stop them being mobbed or to let staff get away.
  15. yes. lots of things. you must just read my drive by comments. its not like it has no relevance in this thread. and i like helping out mates. if your band was playing some festival or something and i was on a forum where people didnt know id do the same
  16. it better be real! i aint going through this stress for nothing half the shops in glasgow are shut and my flight is gona be lucky to leave tonight. and with only money and my passport im going to get awful hungry until we land in turkey and we find a supermarket!
  17. watch the news yes im refering to that. means my suitcase now weighs over 20kg :/ but they cant complain cause your allowed 5kg for your hang luggage and ive had to pack it all now. cause i aint putting all my cameras and stuff in a rucksack for them to throw about. i know folk who work in luggage handling. you dont want to hear the stories. means major delays too. the airline called to tell us to try arrive really early. but everyone is traveling on mega bus from aberdeen so cant exactly get here any quicker. arg
  18. pretty crap isnt it :-( 4 hours of sheer boredum and nooo food.
  19. Im gutted i cant go but im going to be in turkey. Drive By Argument are playing so if you all can, go check them out. They have just recently signed their Album deal with Lizzard King. so go see them before they become huge. cause believe me, they will :-)
  20. erm but the music industries are fighting against illegal filesharing because its making them loose out on money. They are not trynig to stop unsigned bands get their music out there. sites like Myspace are good for that cause it is the artist who is willingly putting the music up there. They are agreeing to let people hear their music for free and if they want allow them to download it for free. When it comes to things like Limewire, you can get whole albums for nothing and the artist looses out. Yes the record companies and publishing companies loose out to. And everyone thinks it is just them who are greedy for money. But ive seen figures for how little an act actually gets and every penny counts towards them paying their advances back and finally making some profit. The RIAA and BPI are not trying to stop all file sharing networks, they are just trying to legalise them all. The music industry is not trying to deny that the internet is the way forward. They are just a bit slow and are only now embracing peer to peer technology. But it isnt easy for them to do so when there are so many illegal networks out there.
  21. *claps hands* well said. having to sell tickets in order to get some money is fair enough. reminds me of the days when lava did loads of gigs. bands would sell the tickets cheaper before hand, take some money for themself then give paul the rest. I was always happy to get a cheaper ticket and know that some of the cash went to the bands rather than paul taking it all. obviously is not fair if you were touring somewhere and expected to sell tickets in order to get any money at all and you didnt actually know anybody in that city at all. I feel that a promoter should be willing to cover some of the travel expenses if they are resonable enough. I know we did when putting on our gigs at uni. and the majority of the bands didnt want any more money. they were happy for the exposure.
  22. sorry how are they shooting themselves in the foot?
