I think the argument that the pitch and stadium would not be ready is a perfectly viable reason for the match not to be at Ibrox. 24 hours is not a great recovery period for any pitch, let alone a pitch for a cup final involving two teams who have demonstrated over the past ten months that they are interested in playing some good passing football at times. It's unlikely we'd witness the FA Cup final being played 24 hours after the Championship play-off final. Ally McCoist is just a grade-A moaning dick-sock. He and his siege mentality can fuck right off. Scotland hates you and your stupid cheating football club for a very good reason. You and your club cheated your way to success and denigrated the integrity of Scottish football as a whole. Fuck off Coisty, and fuck off Sevco.

I'd be more worried if these claims were made and there was no investigation into the allegations at all. Allegations were made against an individual. An investigation was launched and not enough substantial evidence was found to convict the individual, therefore the individual is cleared of the allegations. Sounds pretty fair and logical to me. The only shit part of it all is the media coverage it gained and the fact that, as a society, we lap that shit up and are so eager to pass comment and judgement on it all.

Well thats the second high profile child abuse case to be thrown out in the last couple of months. Does that indicate a trend of false accusations? Its more disturbing when you read that the first allegation against him only came to light after he made a comment saying that people get punished for things they have done in a previous life. 4 more were then only reported AFTER the first made it to the papers, and one was thrown out right away as eventually the woman confessed she had no actual memory of the incident she was reporting..... To me, false accusations of rape and child abuse are extremely dangerous.

If this really was the case, I think I would actively be trying to stop music from happening, as it is too horrific to contemplate.

I did buy a Fat Furry Freak in the end. First run at it was fine out of the box, but a disaster once I wired up the switch and packed it in the box. Threw it to one side for ages. Got a new soldering iron for Christmas, and while I was doing the wiring for my Gibson Ripper I decided to revisit. I wasn't sure if I would toast the board or not but I desoldered all the wires from the board, re-did the switch and shortened the wires to the pots. To my surprise and delight it worked. Kinda. Now I realise that King Doofus here has wired his pots the wrong way round. I am NOT touching the board again so I'll swap the wires at the pots instead. At least I only have to swap the outside wires around - middle one's in the right place Almost there!
