Bloody hell Cool1's reputation has taken a beating, I'm not fan of his odd question style, but there's something about it that it seems cruel to neg rep him, almost like he can't help it. Like picking on a spazzy kid. And this thread is probably his most decent one but looking at his profile it appears it is this one that broke the people's resistance. I'm not sure there's much difference between a good night and bad night out. You just need all the people to be in the right mood. What happens is kind of the same you just enjoy it more. I was going to tell a few average tales but I had written two paragraphs about one night when I realised I could spend ages typing shit that really wouldn't be interesting and could be summed up in a few words so I'll try a concise version. Once me and a few friends were out and about in the afternoon and got enticed into a pub by the lure of cheap beer. We ended up getting merrily drunk and later in the night found ourselves at a free outdoor festival in Badalona (just outside barcelona). Good drinking, good chat, some dancing, some flirting with some pretty girls, what more can you ask? A favourite of mine is always the second day drinking, if you can rise yourself out of your hangover and start again it is often an even better day. After a big night on the beer I'm a fan of switching to red wine the next day. There have been a couple of times when I've met with friends in the afternoon all hungover and started drinking some wine slowly. Then the pace picks up and before you know it 10 hours have passed. Great times. I spent a few months in Ghana and any time I got into the capital for a weekend was awesome. The fact I couldn't often have a "night out" made me appreciate it more. Got completely wasted in the beer gardens of Munich once, that was awesome. And numerous nights out in Aberdeen where I've been with good friends and had a good time and there's not much to it than that. Oh, that was still quite a bit, but still much less than it would have been on the path I started out on.

Anything worth watching is on the net anyways. Apart from the news, but you can read that instead of watching it. Pet hate: clicking on "New Posts" to find out a half dozen threads list John W or JakeBassist as the last poster. I realise I could hide their posts, but then I'd have less things to direct irrational hatred toward and who wants that?

A peavey Predator electric guitar when I was 10. Really nice American made Strat copy. I remember I tried to "age" it with a screwdriver after seeing a picture of Stevie Ray Vaughan and his guitar. Sold it a couple of years later to fund another guitar. Always regretted it. A couple of years ago I got an Ebay account and did a search to see if I could find one similar. One came up on the first search that was the same colour. Put a bid on it and won the auction. When it arrived I noticed it had the EXACT same scratches I had made as a 10 year old some 11 years earlier, so I was reunited with my first guitar! Its still just as nice as I remembered and the previous owner replaced the single coil at the bridge with a humbucker, which I actually prefer. I'm chuffed to bits to have it back!

I skimmed through the last couple pages, but I didn't see anything about smoked salmon in scrambled eggs. I'm rectifying this, as it's an amazing breakfast on some wholemeal toast.

100% this. I usually use margarine on toast, but scrambled eggs is one of the instances where only butter is acceptable.

I normally make it for breakfast on a weekend if I'm up before anyone else. As I'm normally offered bacon roll if I get up later. Really nice. Do you microwave for do it on the hob?

I was thrown out of Exodus for a bizarre turn of events one night. I had been hanging out with a pal of mine who happens to be a lesbian; when she decided to call it a night I went to Exo on my own. I started chatting to a couple of girls at the bar when one of the girls said "We're lesbians" so I replied "Awesome, I love lesbians, I've just been having drinks with one". At this point the girl started to get annoyed with me so I said cheerio and started talking to someone else. Later in the night a girl I hadn't seen before came over and said "My friend really wants to talk to you" but I was like "Well maybe later" but she kept on hassling me to come meet her friend. So she takes me through the bar and who else is it but the girl who'd said she was a lesbian earlier. Suddenly she just starts screaming in my face "Fuuuuuck YOooooouu!" I was like "I didn't even want to come over here you crazy bitch". About an hour later I was going outside and she was at the door and she was like "You're not even here with anyone, you're just hitting on girls" so I said "So what? I know plenty of people here" So she said "Oh yeah, show me". I should have just told her to get fucked but I was drunk.... I looked over and saw Murray and Jordan from the Xcerts having a drink so I said, "Come meet these guys". So I take the original two girls over and say "This is Murray, this is Jordan" and the girls demeanour totally changes. The really bitchy one is flirting hard with Murray the other is talking to Jordan. Murray is looking at me shrugging his shoulders. Eventually he says "Bob, who are these girls?" and I said with no malice whatsoever "No one really, just a couple of lesbians I met earlier". So the bitchy one flips out about me calling her a lesbian and throws a drink at my head which I successfully duck. Then she grabs a pint that's on the table and tries to throw it at me but I put my hand up to block her throw and she spills the entire pint over herself and her friend. I won't forget the expression on their faces in a hurry, mouths wide open in shock as the beer dripped from their clothes and hair. Not long after that I was asked to leave.
