that my friend is why the ab-music journal idea makes so much sense! i would love it it would be hilarious. What would swing the idea to the high heavens for me would be the ability to quote from journals, such as:

There's nothing to lose in trying it for a bit. Anyway, if people don't want to read them, they don't have to. And although you said it would be okay to be more personal 'journals', if people are more into that type, they're likely to put them on myspace or whatever they use rather than here so it should stay closer to music-based here.

I like it, if people recognise it as a useful source of knowledge in the music business then it would be a great resource.

actually i think this would be a rather splendid idea although it would have to be implemented well.

Well, it looks like I wasn't the only one who couldn't decide if this was a good idea or not. The vote is split, so I've decided I'll give this a whirl. There is nothing to lose so if this doesn't work out I'll simply remove the Blog feature.
