Johnny, if you want to help with the header graphics then please download this ZIP and do your worst.

The same goes for anyone else out there - please read the first post of this thread for more details as I've now tagged a small update on the end of it. Thanks.

You just use the "search" function and type in the band name, it comes up with threads and posts.

Will the recent, ie; last few days, banned members be allowed back in after this upgrade is complete?

Yes, as the ban list will be getting wiped. However, their user accounts will also be getting deleted so they will have to re-register as a new user.

When I get my arse into gear...

It has been delayed slightly as the recent release of vBulletin 3.51 has forced me to do some re-work on the new site.

The announcement at the beginning of this thread has had some subtle additions made to it.

Getting closer to announcing a "go-live" date being set now. Boy, you people won't even recognise the new web site.

Yep, this should be a pretty neat feature. I've still to finalise the details but there will be a flyer panel added to both the home page and the forum home page where thumbnails of flyers will be displayed. Click on the thumbnails and you get to see the full flyer image. To facilitate this I'll probably create a new section in the Galleries for people to upload their flyers to.

I can't take any credit for this idea though - gridlock suggested it in the chat rooms and I think it's a cracker. People already upload their flyers to the web site so it seems logical to show these flyers around the web site a little more. Consider it virtual flyering.
