can anyone suggest any decent (and cheap) places to stay in aberdeen?

it needs to be nearish the city

any numbers or sites would be good

try the northern hotel, gt northern rd, end of george st. shouldn't be expensive and its v nice. takes bout 25 mins to walk to train station tho. and if you see someone working there called david then spit on him (please)

Premier Lodge on West North Street $50 ish per night, quite reasonable, beside thats for the room, could hold more than one person.
