are you looking for tutorial books or coffee table type books? i'm not selling any but i can certainly recommend a few if you let me know what you're after and what style of photography interests you.

coffee table type, the large ones with wonderful large prints of the pictures in them which are almost impossible to read but still great to have because the quality of the reproductions is so good.

for tutorial i heartily recommend basic photography and advanced photographer by michael langford. pretty much the standard textbook for anyone on a photography course. you can pick them up for reasonable prices on ebay. then once you've learn the basics and know what style you prefer you can find endless books on portraits, landscape, reportage and any other type of photography you can think of which will give more specialist tutorials. niall benvie does a great landscape book called creative landscape photography.

i second the langford photography books.

i'd also recommend 'the photo book' too. not so much tutorial but a good source of inspiration. it's an a-z of amazing photographers with notes and explanations behind each photograph. at first i thought it looked kind of cheesy, but it's actually pretty concise. i think waterstones sell it for around £6.
