Default Wanted - cheap car.....I mean really cheap...
Hi
Wondered if anyone could give me any advice on where to look for a super cheap car?
Or better still, does anyone have one they'd like to sell me?
I 've had a look in Scotads and the P&J, plus asked around at work etc.
What I'm looking for is something for less than £500 to get me through my test.....
it's pretty urgent!!!

You could go to the auction, it's on St Machar drive one night a week I think. My flatmate just bought a car there, £650 for a Golf and not too much wrong with it other than rust.

Yeah Thainstones the place to go if your after a cheap motor. You could probably get an alright Polo or something with a years MOT on it for around £500. Saying that if its just to get you through your test you could rent out the Arnold Clark Dual control car. Its pretty cheap too!

Thanks guys,
Thainstone would've been my next port of call but I managed to find one! Yay!!
It's a Puegot 106 diesel 1998, got it for £700 which is a bit over what I wanted to pay but it's a nice wee runner and it has a year's MOT. Sweeeeeeet!!!
Now all I have to do is pass my test :-(
I'd stay off the roads if I were you...I'm a rubbish driver.......
Oh dear.....frightened....!!!
