Does anyone else think that this site is getting slower to load up? I find that sometimes its taking ages... especially on the forums page.

Guys, first this the wrong forum to post things like this so please make these kinds of posts in the Technical Problems forum in the future.

Secondly, I too have noticed the slow speed and have now made my server admins aware of this and so this problem is now getting investigated. In the mean time to rule out possible network problems can you all launch a command prompt window and type in the following:

tracert www.aberdeen-music.com

And then post the results of the trace route in this thread as a reply. Thanks.

Your ISP and/or firewall is blocking ICMP traffic so you can't perform a tracert properly. Don't be too worried by the request time-out messages.

The server admins have performed a once over of the server and it looks fine. They have disabled a few unused modules to free up memory and processor usage so I would be interested to hear if any of you have noticed a difference in access speed.
