Default Sluggish scrolling

When trying to scroill up or down a page everything is now horribly sluggish and jumpy. I tried turning off avatars and sigs etc, but it does it on the main pages as well.

It's making everything virtually unreadable.

do this

click tools > internet options> the "Advanced" tab

in amongst all the checkboxes there is one under browsing which says "Use Smooth Scrolling" uncheck it and all should be well

I've got this aswell, any threads with images in them scroll slowly on my broadband connection!

Thank you, that's a bit better.

But what is the difference between the old board and the new one that made this occur in the first place?

This web site is considerbly more graphic intensive than the last web site. The real killer is when people link to huge images in threads though because if you have a slow Internet connection and/or slow computer then you are going to be waiting ages for threads like that to display.

I'm considering adding further restrictions when posting links to images to help reduce this problem.

I would just like to add that I find it too sluggish. And for some reason the bos in the "Your Reply" bit (where i am now) is not very wide. it looks really gay.

Adie, can you explain a bit better what you mean here? The "bos"? I'm probably just being dense again.
