Appears my reputation has gone up, but there isn't a nice little positive comment from anyone. My favourite part of the reputation system is that i like the positive comments, just wondering as to why it may have gone up by 3 or 4 points and no one has actually given me them.

Reputation is not only controlled by what is given to you by other users.

The other factors which can have an effect are:-

• Post Count Factor
• Register Date Factor
• Reputation Point Factor

These parameters are all editable by the site adminstrators.

Post Count Factor

For every X number of posts, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Register Date Factor

For every X number of days, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Reputation Point Factor

For every X points of reputation, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

I suspect the explanation for this is that a user has been recently deleted after asking for their account to be removed and the reputation values for everyone have automatically been recalculated to remove their any influence they may have had. So if a user gave you negative reputation and they were then deleted, then your reputation would increase.
