To tentatively stick my oar in here... I couldn't help but notice that the entity known as Stripey seems to have ended his internets career with four bars of positive reputation. I can understand why, but also why he got the boot.

I think the problem with a reputation system is that it inevitably gives rise to point scoring, grudges and back patting.

Sorry... THE INTERNETS inevitably give rise to point scoring, grudges and back patting. That's what I meant. A reputation system merely enhances the experience!

IMO. Don't take my point away... NOEZ!!

I just discovered if you click on your name at the top to bring you to your profile, you can only see the last 5. However if you go to the Forum Jump dropdown in the bottom right and go to User Control Panel at the top, you can see the last 10 comments.

I got negative reputation for my opinions on the price of Slipknot tickets. I found it hard to believe people could take a bunch of grown men in boiler suits and novelty masks so seriously.
