If you click on the link to my Myspace underneath my avatar over there, it tries to take you to http://www.aberdeen-music.com/forums/www.MySpace.com/cobrakairock instead of just www.myspace.com/cobrakairock.

It does that if you have the address starting with 'www.' - you need to have the 'http://' bit in the link in your profile. Go to Control Panel, Edit Profile (or click here)and add http:// to your address.
