I appear to be logged in but when I go to post or reply it asks me to sign in, lets me type, asks me to sign in again, then tells me it doesn't know what thread I'm replying to.

.....so is there something I can change on my browser settings that would help me. I seem to have to sign in all the time and it's driving me mad!

Make sure your web browser is accepting cookies from the web site. If your using Internet Explorer look down at the bottom right of the screen for the little eye symbol. If it isn't there then good but if it is then it is blocking cookies from the web site. Double click on it and allow cookies from site and hopefully you will be sorted.
