After much investigation and fun I've just managed to access the new site. For some reason my flatmate on the same network as me can see the site with no problems, but whenever I use aberdeen-music.com I get the old site and the temporarily closed message. The only thing we can think of is that for some reason our ISP is shunting him to a different DNS server than me.

anyway we both did a trace route and from that I got the new IP address which seems to work, so if people are having problems accessing thes ite tell them to (in the meantime) use the following:

http://69.5.26.248/forums/

This way they should be able to contribute to things like the drakes closing thread (the main reason I wanted to get back in).
