I have my 'invisible' box or whatever it's now called checked but I still appear on the list of currently active users (with an asterisk after my name).

A small point but I do like lurking in ther shadows.

EDIT: I've just noticed that we no longer have the "search new posts" or whatever it was called. That was the only button which made this board easy to navigate, where is it?

for search new posts, click on the Quick Links button that appears in the list up there ^ between User CP and Gallery. a drop down menu will appear with one of the options being Search New Posts.

If you have an asterix beside your name then that denotes you are invisible. You appear in online users to yourself but not to others.

And follow Scott's directions for Search New Posts.

would it be possibe to have a seperate link along the top for New Posts or have the little box thingy that appeared before the upgrade?
