anyway.... here it is

Demo:statue of misery 'tonight you die'

"a horrible name for a band and demo alike. so it comes
as a surprise when you hear it, how good it is.
it's standard metal by numbers in the vein of machine head and fear factory
but it is played very well. the band are still young and once they develop their
style more, could be very promising indeed"

It is?

Sounds fairly rude about what they do and even their name! Mentions they might have some promise and that they know how to cover / mimic their heroes to a good level.

I've not been able to listen to the songs yet, I'll give them a spin later. That review does not bode well that I will enjoy what i hear though.

fair comment.

the way i saw it was.... thats a better reveiw than most bands well established in 'the scene' get in kerrang (etc)

we could both be accused of reading between the lines though. i started on the 1st line, you started on the 2nd, and we read very different reviews.
