Default question FAO drummers

so i was looking at this signature snare and wanted to know if its a good buy.

http://www.bandland.co.uk/catalog/pr...oducts_id=1771

i want a piccolo and love joeys sound on all three albums. however, i dont really know a lot about hardware, i just play the fuckers. so is this a rip off? or a decent price.

It's a tad on the expensive side but looks really neat, watch you ears though if you do a rim shot you might burst an ear drum.

You could probably find a cheaper one with the same quality. The price being slightly expensive due to the fact the Joey is associated with it.

As far as I can see that's a pretty fair price for a Signature, top-quality snare.

Bear in mind it's not a piccolo, in fact it's got a fair depth to it. Also, this is a pretty new product so it will not have been used on Slipknot records.

It's a single ply steel 13 x 6.5

It sounds brutal man! So loud!

Seriously, go into R&B and have a listen to it compared to some of the other snares (Pearl Masters etc.), you'll love it - I do!
