the good defenders are fucking expensive this year!

I think all those nil - nils last year, meant more clean sheets and more points for defenders.. and it's pushed the price up.

The head-to-head league that turns into a cup at the end - I currently have it set so the top 8 go into a playoff cup, but I can alter it so it's the top 4 or even the top 2.

8 might be a bit much since there are only 13 teams in it, so I'm proposing making it the top 4 go into the playoffs.

My team is now looking pretty good.

My tip for value players would be sunderland this year. They've bought a couple of decent players, but more importantly Steve Bruce is now their manager and he did a great job with Wigan.

Poor start for me too. Not one of my players got on the score sheet! Sitting 18th of 21 in the points tally league, and roundly beaten by Bri Fudge in the head to heads. Must do better next week...
