Right, you lot. A bit of progress perhaps.

A lad advertised on my works Intranet that he wanted some lads to play a bit of five a side. Now, he's only got 5 or 6 folk interested, which sounds a bit like our situation. So, why don't we just merge, and that way we can get some decent 6 a side going? It'll either be at Goals or Strikers, and he's looking at possibly Friday nights.

I don't know the guy, or any of the chaps he's rallied together, so we're all in the same boat, and all abilities are welcome, so it doesn't matter if you're crap at football like me.

So, put your name down if you're interested in bobbing along with these guys - Please donly put your name forward if you RLY RLY want to play, because I need to report back with numbers... It seems like the logical thing to do though since we simply just don't have enough interested bodies here, and neither does he.

SHORT NOTICE, but does anyone want to play football down at Goals TOMORROW NIGHT (Wednesday 26th August) with me, and a few Council folk I've yet to meet? Let me know ASAP only if it's a definite yes, as it will need to be booked and paid for in advance. The more the merrier! It will be between £6 and £8 per head. I don't know how good these guys are, but I'm crap, if that makes you feel any better!
