He was a liability in his last season, he just rambled a load of random old shite most of the time, he needed Brundle there to correct him. It was like listening to Grandpa Simpson on commentary.

I'll be staying up this weekend for sure. I must admit I'm in a similar situation to some - used to follow it religiously from about the mid 80s but lost interest and became a casual observer. I'm hoping these new cars will inject some excitement into the proceedings. By excitement I mean overtaking.

I liked Jeremy Clarkson's thoughts on the situation last year.

"We should make all the drivers drive for free, and then every point they earn is worth a million pounds. Then we'll see how hard it is to overtake".

Great overtaking moves - Hakkinen on Schumacher in 2000 when they were both aproaching a backmarker - Schumacher goes round the outside of the backmarker and Hakkinen goes up the inside, and gets past them both.
