Bloody hell, heart attack at 22. That's pretty frightening. I guess he must have had some kind of heart defect that went undetected or something.

He was a right player as well. Any word as to what caused it?

I think Foe from a couple years back had some valve problem that you don't find out about till you die from it.

Shit, that's bad news.

That's now 3 players in recent years that have collapsed then died. This guy (Antonio Puerta), Marc Vivian-Foe and Miklos Feher.



There was also a Saudi Arabian player who took a sudden heart attack and went crazy, not sure if he died or not though,

It's not actually. Athletes put a lot of stress on their bodies these days so it's no surprise that weaknesses, especially things like heart defects, crop up as often as they do.
