hard to believe just over 5 years ago they were in a champions league semi final!!! suprised the points deduction wasnt reduced mind.

If it wasn't for the involvement of Ken 'Shady' Bates and the loyalty of the home support, then I reckon Leeds would probably have been wound up by now. 15 points is a lot for a team with a threadbare squad, they'll do well not to go down again.....

i look forward to cambridge playing leeds in league two next season 15 points is a lot to make up and they've only just started signing players this week.

cambridge went through a similar thing when we nearly went bust two years ago (though thankfully our dealings werent so shady we got an additional points deduction apart from 10 for admin which like leeds did we took when already relegated) we only started signing players a week before, looking back on the table if we'd have been given an addition points deduction we'd only just have avoided relegation to the conference south on goal difference.

so yes i think it will be very tough indeed for leeds this season.

Feel sorry for the fans really, this is what happens when you're club is run by two seemingly clueless mongs (Ridsdale & Bates) in quick succession.

West Ham to be in the same situation in 5 years time? I wouldn't bet against it...
