I like him. He can be really funny but he's a really bad loser, he'll never admit that his team just weren't good enough or his tactics were wrong and he'll go off on stupid rants when he gets beat. That's quite annoying. Losing with grace is a skill he needs to learn.

i think you've hit the nail on the head there. it's a tactic that deflects a lot of the pressure away from his players and onto him, and as he's not actually playing he's in a better position to deal with it.
