What happened to the bouncers last night?

All out scrapping on the dance floor for a good 5 minutes. Stopping and starting, guys on the floor, rolling about etc.

It kicked off right beside me, and I got my pint punched out of my hand!

It had to be split up by random punters, and only then did the bouncers appear.

I was working in Snafu last night. Basically, less than five minutes previous, something else kicked off near the toilet area and the bouncers were just finishing dealing with that when I ran up the stairs to tell them about the carnage on the dance floor. It was pretty rough.
Usually you see them about regularly doing the rounds but I guess whatever took place near the toilets was big enough to warrant most of them taking part.
From what a couple of the guys who witnessed it told me, it just sounded like the same old ape BS - someone bumped into someone else, drinks were spilled etc.

I hate folk that get all pissy when you accidently spill their drink or spill yours on them in a club. If you're going to cry, then get the fuck out of the club instead of squaring up you dumb fuck.

It was really weird - just seemed to take forever for any Snafu staff to appear!

I've never seen trouble in Snafu before, so I was quite surprised. The stuff on the dancefloor just seemed to flare up out of nothing. I was just going about my business and my pint glass got knocked flying out of my hand - turned around and there was about 4 or 5 folk (although it could have just been a one on one with a few others trying to split it up) scrapping beside me.

Like Tubthumper says - total dicks that start fighting over spilt drinks. It pisses me off a little bit if someone bumps into me, but in a busy club, it's clearly not their fault, and I've probably bumped into loads of people in clubs by accident without realising it.

It is annoying if it's some uncontrollable drunken idiot who's clattering about the place spilling folks drinks. I'd always wait until a bouncer was nearby until I hit them though so that it gets broken up before I get battered....

Exodus is the worst culprit for these, people just batter their way through the crowd beside the bar, every time I usde to go in there (which I don't do any more) my drink would go flying at least twice. I started buying bottled beer whenever I was in Exo cos I was sick of my pints getting spilled!

Exodus is a fucking dive.

Exo used to be my favourite place to go, but I can't stand it now. It may be cos I'm getting older or whatever, but they seem to let more people in there now, and it's always totally rammed. It's not enjoyable cos you can't get to the bar without basically fighting for it, and it still takes 20 minutes to get a pint. You can't "dance" on the dancefloor cos there's not enough space, and you can't chat to your mates cos it's loud, so it basically serves little purpose for me. I used to go when it was busy but not crammed in like it always seems to be now. The last few times I've went in for old times' sake, I've left within about 20 minutes cos I'm not enjoying it.

There also seems to be a lot of dicks in that place.
