DIRTY HEARTS CLUB PRESENTS THE FILTHY DUKES (LIVE) PLUS DHC DJS // THURSDAY 19TH FEBRUARY // SNAFU



The Filthy Dukes were DJs, now they're are a band, DJs and producers. Olly and Tim are now joined by Mark, with whom they've made an album - Nonsense In The Dark. Their new album, like most personal art forms is a result of their influences, these range from Tangerine Dream to Hot Chip, Can to SMD, Roxy Music to Soulwax, Hip Hop to Krautrock. Due for release in February 2009, the album features a collection of artists, most of them have also played their Kill Em All club night, but are to be announced in due course. The Fabric based night has been on the go for 5 years now, in which time guests like Justice, Erol Alkan, Bloc Party, Crystal Castles, Late Of The Pier, Chemical Brothers, James Murphy, Jackson & His Computer Band, Zombie Nation, Schinichi Osawa, Brodinski and Simian Mobile Disco; have all performed. In their live performances they combine mixing desk, with a tonne of old synths, pedals, distortion units and a load of other geeky stuff. Their live shows are meant to be amazing - you should come along!
