I've got to say I agreed with everything he said. Scottishness is readily defined by our differences from the English, and the Scots regularly trumpet England's supposed inferiorities. Why then, should we be surprised or upset when someone from the other side does to us what we've been doing for centuries?

I've never seen a Scottish pundit on television rip into English nationalism with such disdain like Dr Starkey did last night.

He clearly has the view that "us Scots" are an inferior "feeble" race...thats my issue.
Not the Scottish v English argument. Just the fact he truly believes he is better than us as people.

The title actually speaks volumes of one thing I hate about some Scottish Nationalists: persecution complex. That aside, the guy is clearly a twat and whilst everyone is entitled to their own opinion I don't see what he was aiming to achieve other than a big bag of hate mail. I trust someone has contacted Peter Dow to get him on the case.
