So, how will it affect everyone next year?

According to the BBC, I'm going to be out of pocket by around £7. Not much, but I'm not exactly Mr. Moneybags and Alistair Darling is a knob.

I don't drink in any great quantity (less than a pint a week on average), i don't smoke and i don't own a car.

I put down 3 pints a week, because I barely drink as it is at the moment, so seems about right.
