Vs.

Inevitable.

Barack won this election with a combination of the massive no-way-back shit storm Bush and co. created and being black. Still awesome though.

There are some really amazing pictures out there that were taken over the course of the whole campaign!! Makes Obama seem like a really down to earth family man. Which is nice for a change.

I think the thing that most news people / republicans can't get their head around is that he might just be genuine! There might indeed be a type of human on this earth that does want to do good - and is (fairly) selfless and is down to earth - yet can cope with major roles such as this.

I think it's because we've never seen one yet, that people doubt he's all what he pertains to be....

again, only time will tell - but I am guessing he is who he presents himself to be.

I just want to know what kind of puppy they get for the White House!!

Yeah, I think people can relate to him in some sort of way.

I read in an article somewhere that he's only got one house and his family and that's it basically. When McCain was asked something relating to his home life he couldn't remember how many houses he had (or should that be his heiress wife has?! - I don't know much about him to be honest though).

I was just following on from the point that many think he's a normal guy and what you see is what you get.

Thus many people won't be able to relate to McCain with all his houses unless you're one of Americas super rich.

That's all.

I think we'll have lots of comedy moments from Mrs Palin to come...
Watch this one. Apparently she was there to 'pardon a turkey' (thanksgiving).
The guy in the back is brilliant anyway but it's too bizarre to hear her speak and the turkeys being slaughtered... Prepare to drop your jaw...
