Default Aberdeen restaurants closed down in immigration sweep - 30-04-2008, 16:14
Does anyone know which ones it is? I can only assume from the addresses that it's kebab shops, as I can't think of much else in Belmont Street, Market Street and Bridge Street. I've probably munched on kebabs from all of them at one point or another.

This happened a couple of years ago to the restaurants on Crown Terrace. They were mainly chinese immigrants working there and also selling DVD's, flashing trinkets etc around town.

It was in the evening express yesterday.

The kebab/curry place down from what used to be esko bar and belmont kebab shop were two of them.

Dunno about market street.

Damn it.

I wish they'd put as much effort into having 'ned sweeps' as they do immigration ones, but immigrants are an easy target I guess.
