nope, i had no idea that was the case, she spoke a little english in her interview, but i am presuming this will be an austrian talk show.

what do you know about it? is it a trisha/ jermy kyle type thing where she is going to give a different austrian dad a hard time for locking friends/ family/ relatives/ strnagers in the basement? or is it a woganesque light hearted look at life?

Did you know she also gave an interview where she said she wants to meet them & become involved in the rehabillitation? That & the upcoming talkshow seemed to be just a little too neat?


Just that whilst the press here forgot about her very quickly & I think most folk assumed she would be left to get on with life in private, the situation in her homeland was very different.

She rapidly attained a great deal of celebrity & her readjustment to life has been very much in the media spotlight - in a sort of "everybody's daughter" kind of way. Which of course is not helped by her being invited to & turning-up for just about every major State & glitzy function going, plus her ongoing problems in the relationship with her mother & other stuff, like her "first date", dealing with her feelings about her late captor etc.

Perhaps Austrian culture has a different level of expectation to privacy than we are used to? The coverage of the Amstetten family is maybe suggesting that as well?

However, she has apparently become fairly wealthy in the process & that at least should help secure her future when the ghouls eventually stop watching?

Kerstin Fritzl, 19, who lived her entire life as a prisoner of her father in a subterranean dungeon, has suffered multiple organ failure and is in a coma from which medical experts now say she will not recover.

If she dies prosecutors will bring a charge of murder against her father Josef Fritzl who kept her locked up in the cellar under his home in the town of Amstetten.
