Fuck it, condoms, tampons and pregnancy tests should all be free anyway, at the very least they should be VAT free. It's no wonder we've got the highest rate of teen pregnancy when you can't get free condoms from the family planning clinic without taking a ticket and getting a lecture from some bitter 60 year old woman.

Is that what happens? I used to go and in get them when I worked across the road from the family planning clinic in like 2001 and you just asked at the counter and they gave you a paper bag full of condoms, all you had to do was tell them your name and age.

They used to just have a stack by the door.

I don't find trips to the ol' family planning clinic bad at all. I take my ticket, go see a nurse, she weights me and checks my blood pressure then out I scoot with another years worth of pills. They try and give me bags of condoms every time I go but I don't use them so never take them (just to explain to the casual reader... I'm in a long term relationship and have been for years). No probs from me.

Do they not keep a stack by the door anymore? Maybe kids kept stealing them.

In regards to the pregnancy test... you can get one free from the sexy clinic... I'm willing to bet it's a bit more reliable than the £1 jobs too. You do have to pee into a little cup though which is a bit embarrassing.
