I suspect it is because his only knowledge of Charlton Heston has come from a Michael Moore documentary.

He might have supported the NRA but he did a lot of good things as well:

Regardless of his views (which I could not give two shits about), he was a fantastic actor. Soylent Green is one of my all time favourite movies.

yeah not a fan of his right wingyness and his insensitive NRA speaches. He was a good actor and soylent green is awesome that is true. Oh and thanks for fixing my link by the way.

I saw him at His Majesty's Theatre years ago (in a man for all seasons).

'The Omega man' was a pretty decent film, too.
