A nationalised media giant is an anachronism in this day and age. It should be sold off and run as a business, and then I would have no problem with the fact that they have a left-wing bias, because I wouldn't have to watch it (which I don't anyway) and I could spend my £131 license tax on something more pleasing.

It sounds like you think that you're only paying for news, relatively impartial is the bbc and a british institution of sorts like tea
