Perfunctory cliches, especially ones that have been shagged dry by ad men and lazy journalists, are just the worst kind of scrotal waste. Our language is there to be utilized acheive maximum in work and played with afterwards. Either way we need to find better ways of putting them together everyday.

...Having said that, there are so many little phrases that irritate me I've become desensitized to them and can't think of one... It'll come to me...

I had occasion to call a good freind 'Bollock' a week ago. He was pointing at Jupiter and telling me how he used to set his compass by the big bright North Star star over there. So as I dug my compass out from my pack I said 'Oy Bollock, have a look at this' he changed the subject.
